在科技中心遭受黑客攻击仅几个月后，香港数码港的首席执行官决定辞职，引发了全球范围内对新首席执行官的搜寻。

科技中心表示，首席执行官彼得·延（Peter Yan）决定不续签合同，将于四月离任。数码港最近遭受重创，因为8月份有属于员工、前员工和求职者的400GB个人数据被盗，并在暗网上出售。
